The 2013 HOT HUNDRED is the 6th of 10 events in the new Alabama Backroads Century Series presented by Wells Fargo Advisors, Bradford Health Services, and Alabama Outdoors.
Each rider completing the 100 mile route at the Hot Hundred will receive a Centurion medal  and be listed as a “Centurion” on the ABCS website. Riders completing 4 event centuries will also receive an  embroidered patch  in the shape of Alabama, showing the ABCS event locations.

Early-bird registration is available for $35 through February 28. Beginning March 1 and going through the close of on-line registration which is noon on July 23, the cost will be $40. If you miss those deadlines, the price increases to $50, so just go ahead and register NOW!

Mark Purser   I can’t add any more to what has already been said. Hannah and Geoffrey put it so well. this was my 2nd ride and my only regret is not doing the previous 8. So many hours were put in to the event and it showed. And I hate to single out one stop because all are great but i just love the Bethel church stop….I always look forward to that one and the Chik Fil A sandwiches and sweet tea was an awesome treat! I am so glad Dave Crain told me about this ride 2 years ago.

Scott Thomas   This was century #9 for me this summer. And without doubt, one of the best…tied with a MUCH larger ride for support and fun. Well worth the four+ hour drive from Chattanooga. Already looking to next year.  . Rest stop volunteers were tops, and thanks to Chick-fil-a for the cow…err…chicken!

Steve Spence   Great ride this past Saturday. My first Hot Hundred. Yes – it was hot. But this was by far the best supported ride I have ever riden. See you next year!

Michael Hayes   While at one of the rest stops I overheard one! fellow say to another; “This is the best supported ride I’ve ever ridden.” Thank you to all the hard working volunteers that work this event. You are awesome and amazing!

Joe Varner   Had a great time.  You guys were prepared and the staff were all super friendly.  The Zoe’s after meal was spot on.  Great Venue as well.  The welcome of the last rider was cool too.

Babs Des Marteau   Had a great ride…boy, those Chick-Fil-A’s and sweet tea came at the perfect time!  And those climbs–wow! Thanks to everyone who did so much to make it happen.  Friday night was enjoyable, appreciated the food, too.

Tamela Curtis  My husband & I drove in from Atlanta, GA to participate in the Hot Hundred Bike Ride yesterday, and had an amazing day! The University of Alabama campus was beautiful, and the course proved to be a fantastic ride. In addition, the attention snd awareness you brought to mental illness was greatly appreciated. But we were most impressed by the organization of the entire event. We have ridden in a number of rides/races and hand down, this was one of the best! Everyone was ready and knowledgeable from start to finish. Kudos to your sponsors for the amazing variety of food and snacks at the rest stops … YOU GUYS ROCK!!!!! Thanks again for an amazing day!!!
